Place the trap in a spot that is as level and straight as possible.  Make a clean hole with a diameter of 6 cm and 1-2 cm deeper than the floor of the passage. Carefully remove any soil that has fallen into the passage or press it down into the hole.  Push the trap into the hole and carefully pull the tensioning bracket upwards so that the trap openings correspond with the direction and height of the aisle. At the ground surface, tightly enclose the trap with grass or leaves so that neither light nor air enters the hole. The trap is now ready for use. Check the trap after one day at the latest.
